- Vacuum all debris and remove all leaves
- Balance all chemicals
- Keep pool/spa equipment running if outside temperature drops below 40 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent freeze damage.
- Have garden hose outside, and have water turned on.
- Have power to the equipment.
- Have winter cover or water bags/tarps outside near the pool/spa.
- Have all other supplies such as plugs and gizmos together with the winter cover.
- If this is the first time your pool is being closed/winterized the closing crew will bring these items.
- Make sure the water level is to the middle of the skimmer.
- Please leave payment in an envelope taped to the filter. If payment is not available upon arrival, your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
- For gates with locks, arrangements must be made to open or provide keys for The Pool Boss crew to access.
- Please be sure to secure all pets indoors.
